What the world could be …
Close your eyes for a while
endolge me …
A beautiful summer’s day
A gentle breeze whispering
through the neverending green fields of grass
In the midst of all that is pure you lay
gazing at the endless clouds that pass
passionately playing
shifting shapes at their own pace
miles away from anything real
conscience of time nor place
nothing but utter peace to feel
Now hold the memory for a while
And know that for everything you see
Only takes the tenderness of your smile
To open up this world
for me

A story told in a far away land
lost in generation
A forgotten tale
about vengeance, forgiveness and reconciliation
It all started with a single stone
moulding not only the shape of a hand
but also a mind into its own
so ready to strike the one she couldn’t stand
But before she followed the path of vengeance …
unexpectedly the former shape of her hand was found
her eyes had opened and beyond the sinner she suddenly saw the sins
the stone fell back to the ground
But emotions were still running high
how could she right the wrong
while all she wanted was to say goodbye
how could she forgive him and move on
But the path of forgiveness was just that
not moving on together
but letting go of what was said
from what was done and from who she had met
Her path ended there
for what he made her believe was never true
she had learned life’s great lesson that life is never fair
but she didn’t wanna die too
Some said the story ended in sadness
for the path of reconciliation was never walked on
others believe that she had to part to prevent madness
and all she could have she had done
But the clue of the story
was not what had happened or who she walked away from
but rather how far your path would reach
to teach that it’s ok to think that some things are better off gone

“He was tired of fighting
To be understoodâ€
It remained a silent thought
Of a quote once heard
And it’s meaning still to be sought
I never thought it would come to me
But you changed my perspective
On things yet to be
What eludes you
Is that it’s not within me
You should quest for life
It’s not b/c of me
Things don’t turn out the way you strive
But I guess it’s easy to blame
How can it be your fault
When it’s me that is the reason
That our lives aren’t the same
How could you possibly be wrong
Or have anything to do
With a thing as trivial as a life
That is surrounding you
So you play this game of guilt
Putting it all on me
Cynically enjoying
That no matter the words that come to mind
Your reply, will keep this game
Right where you want it to be
I give up
For all I care you win
Cause no matter what I say or do
It’ll never be enough for you
I hoped that with words it could
But all I keep thinking now
Is that indeed
I’m tired of fighting
To be understood

Among things
This is a certainty in life
“A young person CAN
But an old person MUST die”
Why can’t you see
That accepting nature’s laws
Isn’t acceptable to me
It’s like drawing f*cking straws
It’s a game of chance
The shortest straw will meet its fate
I don’t wanna be a part of this dance
But then Oh yeah it’s already too late
With the straw in your hand
You keep feeding me these words
Your hand is shut, you don’t know yet where you stand
But you must know that hearing this hurts
So that raises one question in my head
The very reason why it is that you share
These words you just said
Is it ME or YOU you’re trying to prepare ??
